“Actually, life is way more different in reality!!” these are the words felt by each and every human being at least once in their life.
Should I wear this? It’s late-night should I go out? Should I do this? Should I pursue this? But What will people say!!…… Why always other’s opinion matters a lot, don’t I have my own voice, my life, my opinion, my liberty, and my freedom. Why doesn’t anyone consider my right over my opinion?
We carefully pick out what we wear to the gym to make sure we look good in the eyes of the other gym-goers. We post only the best picture of the dozen selfies we took and add a flattering filter to get the most likes to prove ourselves that we are pretty and likable. We live in other people’s heads, and all it does is makes us judge ourselves more harshly, this makes us uncomfortable in our own bodies and makes us regret being ourselves.

It is ridiculous that we are scared to spend, live, eat, dress, and travel “differently”. So, many of us live almost paralyzed lives because, what someone will assume about us, our life, and our morals. We should never compromise even an inch of our happy life based on what people think is “acceptable” to them and their unhappy lives, because our life is lived as per our standards of excellence, not theirs, and as per what works for us and not them.

I could stand in front of 30 strangers and speak on any topic. Some of them will hate my appearance, and some will love it. Some will think I am a fool, and others will love what I have to say. Some will forget me as soon as they leave, some will remember me for years. Some will completely understand what I have to say, and others will misinterpret my words. Each of them will get the same exact me. I will do my best I can be in the moment. But their opinion of me will vary. And that has nothing to do with me and everything to do with them.
“ Remember when people speculate, and if they do it with the intent to harm and hurt, it speaks of their character, not yours”. No matter what I do some people will never like me, and no matter what I do some will always like it. Either way, it has nothing to do with me. And it is none of my business, You would have to decide whether to give in to “What people will say” or to pursue what you want to become with all you have got…
